“Five or six years ago, I was at my home, it was Sunday, 5pm, and two friends of mine came at my place and say, “hey let’s go to have a drink.” After a few beers we start to become drunk and we say “let’s go and make some tags.” I come back to my place to take some spray cans, and we came near the Gare de Nord, La Chapelle. I climbed on the first floor of the building and I made some tags and someone opened a window and they tried to catch me. I fell down and broke my two legs. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but generally I win.”

The work of 2Shy, an alias the French artist has used since 2007, explores the fields of graffiti, illustration, graphic arts and typography.
A graphic artist since 1992 who later earned a diploma in calligraphy, he moved to Liège in the beginning of the millennium for several years, where he became a member of the group ERS and then the Party Harders, which includes Mon Colonel & Spit.
His world combines pop culture and video games in a naive and colourful style.

Le travail de 2Shy, pseudo de l’artiste français depuis 2007, explore les domaines du graffiti, de l’illustration, du graphisme et de la typographie.
Graffeur dès 1992 et plus tard diplômé en calligraphie, il s’installe au début des années 2000 pour plusieurs années à Liège où il devient membre du collectif ERS et puis Party Harders dont font partie Mon Colonel & Spit.
Son univers allie pop culture et jeux vidéo dans un style naïf et coloré.

Het werk van 2Shy, sinds 2007 het pseudoniem van deze Franse kunstenaar, verkent de werelden van graffiti, illustratie, grafische vormgeving en typografie.
Hij spuit al sinds 1992 graffiti en behaalde later een diploma kalligrafie. Vanaf 2000 woonde hij meerdere jaren in Luik, waar hij lid werd van het collectief ERS en later van Party Harders, waar Mon Colonel & Spit ook toe behoren.
Zijn werk brengt de popcultuur en videogames samen in een naïeve, kleurrijke stijl.
