Every Thursday evening from 13 April to 18 May between 5pm and 10pm, the Nocturnes will open your eyes to the treasures waiting for you in Brussels’ museums and art centres.

“A healthy mind in a healthy body”

Combine body and mind exercises at MIMA, which has been transformed for the Local Heroes exhibition into a temple of English boxing, also known as Noble Art. The exhibition combines works of art (photographs, videos, murals…) and the practice of combat by boxers from the city centre clubs, these “local heroes”.

In addition to the exceptional programme that was created especially for you by the six participating museums, the evening will be punctuated with a few surprises. Join us at MIMA for a promising night!

At the Nocturnes Info Point, you can ask all your questions and share your best museum experiences with the Brussels Museums team.

We offer you a bilingual (FR/NL) bike tour of the four museums in the district, accompanied by a guide who – in addition to knowing how to pedal – knows a lot about the canal district and its inhabitants.

And as a vernissage would not be complete without a drink, we offer the first 150 visitors a free drink!

From 8.30 p.m. onwards then, we’ll continue the party with a live concert by Maxime.

Bike ride – “An encounter with the museums” (departure from MIMA

Get on your bike and ride along the canal to discover the museums of the district. Follow the guide who will introduce you to the staff of MIMA, the Sewer Museum, La Fonderie and the Belgian Museum of Resistance. This bilingual FR/NL tour, open to all, will also be an opportunity to learn more about the district and its inhabitants.
